ATTINY13A-MMF Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The ATtiny13A-MMF is a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. It executes 120 powerful instructions, most in a single clock cycle, and features 32 x 8 general-purpose working registers. With throughput approaching 1 MIPS per MHz, it achieves up to 20 MIPS at 20 MHz.

Memory includes 1KB of in-system self-programmable Flash (10,000 write/erase cycles), 64 bytes EEPROM (100,000 cycles), and 64 bytes internal SRAM. Peripheral features include a 4-channel 10-bit ADC with internal voltage reference, one 8-bit timer/counter with PWM, a programmable watchdog timer, and an on-chip analog comparator. Special microcontroller features include debugWIRE on-chip debugging, SPI programming, and multiple low-power modes.

Operating from 1.8V to 5.5V, the device supports speed grades of 0-4 MHz at 1.8-5.5V, 0-10 MHz at 2.7-5.5V, and 0-20 MHz at 4.5-5.5V. It is rated for industrial temperature range (-40°C to 125°C) and is available in a 10-VFDFN exposed pad package (10-MLP, 3x3 mm) for surface mount assembly.

Typical applications include low-power embedded control, sensor interfacing, battery management, and industrial automation where small footprint and wide temperature range are required.
