It provides 4.5Kb of EEPROM for keys and data, along with 512 OTP (One Time Programmable) bits for fixed information. The ATSHA204-TSU-T supports multiple I/O options, including a high-speed, single-wire interface and a 1MHz I2C interface.

 

This authentication chip operates within a supply voltage range of 2.0V to 5.5V, with communications voltage ranging from 1.8V to 5.5V. It boasts a low sleep current of less than 150nA and offers extended, multi-level hardware security. The device is available in an 8-lead SOIC, 8-lead TSSOP, 3-lead SOT23, 8-pad UDFN, and 3-lead Contact packages. The ATSHA204-TSU-T is suitable for applications such as anti-clone protection, secure boot validation, software anti-piracy, network and computer access control, key exchange, and authenticated/encrypted communications.
