The Microchip Technology ATSAMD20J18A-CUT is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ based microcontroller from the SAM D20 series. It features 256KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory and 32KB of SRAM, operating at a maximum CPU speed of 48MHz with a single-cycle hardware multiplier.
The device includes a rich set of connectivity options: I2C, SPI, and UART/USART interfaces, along with 52 general-purpose I/O pins. It integrates peripherals such as brown-out detect/reset, power-on reset, and watchdog timer, as well as data converters: a 20-channel 12-bit A/D converter and a 1-channel 10-bit D/A converter. The microcontroller operates over a supply voltage range of 1.62V to 3.6V and a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The part is housed in a 64-UFBGA surface-mount package (5x5mm body) making it suitable for space-constrained embedded designs. It is designed for home automation, consumer electronics, metering, and industrial control applications. On-chip oscillators, both internal and external, support flexible clock generation.
