ATMEGA8515L-8AU

The ATMEGA8515L-8AU is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology. It boasts a RISC architecture with 130 powerful instructions, most executing in a single clock cycle, and up to 16 MIPS throughput at 16 MHz.

This microcontroller features 8KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory with an endurance of 10,000 write/erase cycles, 512 Bytes of EEPROM with 100,000 write/erase cycles endurance, and 512 Bytes of internal SRAM. It supports up to 64KB of optional external memory space and includes a programming lock for software security.

Peripheral features include one 8-bit timer/counter, one 16-bit timer/counter, three PWM channels, a programmable serial USART, a master/slave SPI serial interface, a programmable watchdog timer with an on-chip oscillator, and an on-chip analog comparator. Special microcontroller features include power-on reset, programmable brown-out detection, an internal calibrated RC oscillator, and external/internal interrupt sources. It offers three sleep modes: Idle, Power-down, and Standby.

The ATMEGA8515L-8AU operates within a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and has a speed grade of 0-8 MHz. It is supplied in a 44-lead TQFP package suitable for surface mounting. The device offers 35 programmable I/O lines.
