The Microchip Technology ATmega644P-20AUR is a low-power, high-performance 8-bit AVR microcontroller based on the enhanced RISC architecture. It features 64KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory, 4KB internal SRAM, and 2KB EEPROM, with high endurance of 10,000 write/erase cycles for Flash and 100,000 for EEPROM. The device supports data retention of 20 years at 85°C and 100 years at 25°C.
Key electrical specifications include a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, maximum clock frequency of 20MHz at 4.5-5.5V (10MHz at 2.7-5.5V), and typical active mode current of 0.4mA at 1MHz, 1.8V. Power-down mode current is as low as 0.1µA. The microcontroller integrates 32 I/O lines, 8-channel 10-bit ADC, two 8-bit and one 16-bit timer/counters, six PWM channels, and connectivity interfaces including I²C, SPI, and two USARTs. Peripherals include brown-out detection, power-on reset, and watchdog timer.
The ATmega644P-20AUR is housed in a 44-pin TQFP package (10x10mm) with surface mount mounting. It is available in tape and reel packaging. The device is suitable for a wide range of embedded applications requiring low power consumption and rich peripheral integration.
