The ATMEGA32U4-AUR is a low-power 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. It achieves up to 16 MIPS throughput at 16MHz, with a single-cycle multiplier for efficient processing.
The device features 32KB of in-system self-programmable Flash, 2.5KB internal SRAM, and 1KB EEPROM. Peripherals include brown-out detect, power-on reset, PWM channels, and a watchdog timer. It also integrates a 12-channel 10-bit ADC.
Connectivity options include I2C, SPI, UART/USART, and a full-speed USB 2.0 device module with six programmable endpoints. The USB controller supports suspend/resume interrupts and can be clocked up to 48MHz via an internal PLL.
