The ATMEGA328-AU is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology based on the enhanced RISC architecture. It features 32KB of in-system self-programmable Flash, 2KB SRAM, and 1KB EEPROM, with high endurance (10,000 write/erase cycles for Flash, 100,000 for EEPROM). It operates at speeds up to 20 MHz, achieving up to 20 MIPS throughput.
Peripheral and connectivity features include two 8-bit timers, one 16-bit timer, six PWM channels, an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, and temperature measurement capability. Connectivity options include I²C, SPI, and USART. The device also includes brown-out detection, power-on reset, and a watchdog timer.
