The ATMEGA169PV-8MU is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology. It features an advanced RISC architecture with 130 instructions, most of which execute in a single clock cycle, achieving up to 8 MIPS throughput at 8 MHz. The device operates over a supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V and is designed for a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.
Memory resources include 16 KB of in-system self-programmable Flash, 1 KB of SRAM, and 512 bytes of EEPROM. The Flash and EEPROM are rated for 10,000 and 100,000 write/erase cycles respectively, with data retention of 20 years at 85°C and 100 years at 25°C. The microcontroller is equipped with 54 general-purpose I/O lines, an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, and a 4×25 segment LCD driver.
Peripheral features include two 8-bit and one 16-bit timer/counters, four PWM channels, a programmable watchdog timer, and an on-chip analog comparator. Connectivity is provided by SPI, USART, and USI interfaces. The device also supports JTAG for boundary-scan and on-chip debug. It is available in a 64-QFN (9×9 mm) surface-mount package with an exposed pad for improved thermal performance.
The operating voltage range is 1.8V to 5.5V.
It is available in a 64-VFQFN Exposed Pad package (64-QFN 9x9 mm).
The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
RoHS3 compliance is claimed but unverified; the data is low confidence.
The maximum clock frequency is 8 MHz at 2.7V-5.5V, and 4 MHz at 1.8V-5.5V.
It has 16 KB of Flash program memory.
It supports SPI, UART/USART, and USI interfaces.
