The ATmega162-16AU is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology. It features an advanced RISC architecture with 131 instructions, most executing in a single clock cycle. The device operates at up to 16 MHz, delivering up to 16 MIPS throughput.
Key built-in peripherals include two 8-bit and two 16-bit timers with compare and capture modes, six PWM channels, dual programmable USARTs, a master/slave SPI interface, a JTAG interface for boundary-scan and on-chip debugging, an internal calibrated RC oscillator, and an analog comparator. The microcontroller supports five sleep modes for low-power operation.
The device is supplied with a 2.7V to 5.5V range and operates over -40°C to +85°C. It is mounted in a 44-lead TQFP package (10x10 mm), suitable for surface-mount assembly.
The supply voltage range is 2.7 V to 5.5 V.
