The regulator is switched off in sleep mode, while silent mode keeps VCC active with the communication path disabled. The transceiver supports data rates up to 20kBaud and wake-up via a 90µs dominant LIN bus pulse.

 

Protection features include TXD time-out, short-circuit and over-temperature protection on the bus pin, and reset output with a 4ms reset timeout for VCC undervoltage detection.
