The ATA6625C-GAQW from Atmel is a fully integrated LIN transceiver with a low-drop voltage regulator, designed for LIN 2.0, 2.1, and SAEJ2602-2 compliant slave nodes. It combines a 1/1 driver/receiver with a 5.0V ±2% regulator capable of supplying 85mA. The device operates from a 5V to 27V supply, with an absolute maximum rating of 40V. It features very low power consumption with 10µA typical sleep current and 57µA in silent mode.
For data communication, the LIN driver supports up to 20kBaud with improved slope control, enabling reliable transmission with an RC oscillator. The device includes undervoltage detection with a 4ms reset pulse on the NRES output, wake-up capability via the LIN bus (90µs dominant pulse), and a TXD time-out timer.
