The AT91SAM9261B-CU from Microchip Technology is a powerful 32-bit microprocessor built around the ARM926EJ-S core. It delivers a processing speed of 190MHz, supported by DSP instruction extensions and ARM Jazelle Technology for Java acceleration. This microcontroller includes 16 Kbyte of data cache and 16 Kbyte of instruction cache, along with a write buffer.

Key embedded memories include 32 Kbytes of internal ROM and 160 Kbytes of internal SRAM, both offering single-cycle access at maximum bus speed.
