AT90USB646-AU

The AT90USB646-AU is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology. Operating at up to 16 MHz, it delivers up to 16 MIPS throughput. The device integrates 64 KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory with 100,000 write/erase cycles, 4 KB of internal SRAM, and 2 KB of EEPROM also rated for 100,000 cycles. It supports an external memory space of up to 64 KB.

The microcontroller includes a rich set of peripherals and interfaces: USB 2.0 Full-Speed/Low-Speed device and On-The-Go (OTG) module, an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, four timers (two 8-bit and two 16-bit), up to 10 PWM channels (4 with 8-bit resolution, 6 with programmable resolution), brown-out detection, power-on reset, watchdog timer, and an internal oscillator. Connectivity options include EBI/EMI, I²C, SPI, and UART/USART. A JTAG interface (IEEE 1149.1 compliant) provides boundary-scan and on-chip debug support, and the device is pre-programmed with a USB boot loader.

The AT90USB646-AU is supplied in a 64-TQFP package (14x14 mm) with 48 general-purpose I/O pins, and is surface-mountable. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V and a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
