The AT90USB162-16AU is an 8-bit microcontroller from Microchip Technology based on the high-performance, low-power AVR architecture. It offers 16KB of In-System Self-Programmable Flash memory with an endurance of 10,000 write/erase cycles, 512 bytes of EEPROM with 100,000 write/erase cycles, and 512 bytes of internal SRAM.

This microcontroller supports USB 2.0 Full-speed device module, enabling data transfer rates of 12 Mbit/s. It features a 48 MHz PLL for bus operation and includes 4 programmable endpoints.
