The Atmel AT90S8515-8PI is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller built on the high-performance and low-power RISC architecture. It offers 8KB of In-System Programmable Flash memory with an endurance of 1,000 Write/Erase Cycles, 512 Bytes of SRAM, and 512 Bytes of In-System Programmable EEPROM with an endurance of 100,000 Write/Erase Cycles. The device supports up to 118 powerful instructions, with most executing in a single clock cycle, achieving up to 8 MIPS throughput at 8 MHz.
