AT45DB021B-SI

The AT45DB021B-SI is a 2.7-volt only, serial interface Flash memory from Microchip Technology, suitable for digital voice, image, program code, and data storage applications. It offers 2,162,688 bits of memory organized as 1024 pages of 264 bytes each, along with two 264-byte SRAM data buffers for concurrent data reception and reprogramming.

This device utilizes a SPI serial interface, supporting modes 0 and 3, which simplifies hardware layout, enhances system reliability, and minimizes switching noise. It operates at clock frequencies up to 20 MHz with a typical active read current of 4 mA and a low standby current of 2 µA. The memory supports page and block erase operations, and EEPROM emulation is possible via a three-step Read-Modify-Write operation.

Designed for in-system reprogrammability, the AT45DB021B-SI operates from a single 2.7V to 3.6V power supply for both program and read operations. It features 5.0V-tolerant inputs for SI, SCK, CS, RESET, and WP pins. The memory is available in commercial and industrial temperature ranges and comes in green (Pb/Halide-free/RoHS Compliant) packaging options.
