The Microchip Technology AT30TSE754A-SS8M-T is a digital temperature sensor designed for accurate temperature measurements. It integrates a temperature sensor, nonvolatile registers, and serial EEPROM, offering a versatile solution for various applications.
This sensor features a 2-wire I2C and SMBus compatible serial interface, supporting speeds up to 1MHz. It measures temperature across a range of -55°C to +125°C with a typical accuracy of ±0.5°C over the 0°C to +85°C range. The resolution is user-configurable from 9 to 12 bits. Additional features include user-configurable high and low temperature limits, nonvolatile registers for retaining settings, and an ALERT output pin for temperature alarms.
The AT30TSE754A-SS8M-T is supplied in an 8-lead SOIC package, suitable for surface mounting. It operates on a single supply voltage from 1.7V to 5.5V. The device also includes 4Kb of serial EEPROM, offering high reliability with 1,000,000 write cycles and 100 years of data retention.
