The Microchip Technology AT27BV1024-90VC is a high-performance, low-power, 1,048,576-bit one-time programmable (OTP) read-only memory organized as 64K by 16 bits. It offers a fast read access time of 90 ns.
This EPROM supports dual voltage range operation, functioning with an unregulated battery power supply range of 2.7V to 3.6V or a standard 5V ± 10% supply range. Its low power CMOS operation includes a standby current of typically less than 1 µA at 3.6V and an active power dissipation of 36 mW max. at 5 MHz and 3.6V.
Designed for reliability, it features 2,000V ESD protection and 200 mA latchup immunity. The device is pin-compatible with the JEDEC standard AT27C1024 and is available in JEDEC standard surface mount packages, including the 40-lead VSOP (10 x 14mm).
This part is ideal for portable and handheld 16- and 32-bit microprocessor-based systems requiring efficient memory solutions. It also supports a rapid programming algorithm with a typical time of 100 µs/word.
