The Microchip Technology AT25256A-10TU-2.7 is a 256Kbit serial electrically-erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) organized as 32,768 words of 8 bits each. It is optimized for industrial and commercial applications requiring low-power and low-voltage operation.
This device supports SPI Modes 0 and 3 and operates with a clock rate of up to 20 MHz. It features 64-byte page mode and byte write operations, along with block write protection for up to 1/4, 1/2, or the entire array. Hardware and software data protection are provided via the Write Protect (WP) pin and Write Disable instructions.
The AT25256A-10TU-2.7 is available in an 8-TSSOP package, suitable for surface mounting. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The device offers high reliability with an endurance of 1 million write cycles and data retention exceeding 100 years. Its voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V, and it has a self-timed write cycle of 5 ms maximum.
