The Littelfuse PolySwitch ASMDC125F/33-2 is a surface-mount polymeric PTC resettable overcurrent protection device. It is rated for a maximum voltage of 33V DC and a short circuit current of 40A. At 25°C, the hold current is 1.25A and the trip current is 2.50A. The device trips within 2 seconds at 8.0A (25°C).
Initial resistance at 25°C is 0.04 Ω minimum, and maximum resistance after reflow is 0.25 Ω. Tripped-state power dissipation is 1.5W maximum at 25°C and 33V. The fuse is housed in a 2-SMD package measuring 7.50 mm x 5.10 mm with a maximum thickness of 0.71 mm. Terminations are tin plated.
The ASMDC125F/33-2 is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free. It is suitable for overcurrent protection in a variety of electronic circuits where resettable protection is desired.
