ASE-50.000MHZ-L-R-T Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The Abracon ASE-50.000MHZ-L-R-T is a standard crystal oscillator (XO) that generates a 50 MHz CMOS output. It operates from a 3.3V supply voltage (3.135V to 3.465V) and draws a typical supply current of 12.7 mA (24 mA max) in the 40.01 to 60 MHz range. The oscillator offers ±25 ppm frequency stability and a duty cycle of 45% to 55% at 1/2 Vdd.

This device features a tri-state enable/disable function and provides fast rise/fall times of 2.3 ns typical (4.0 ns max). RMS jitter is 3.2 ps typical (5 ps max), and start-up time is 1.0 ms typical (2.0 ms max). The oscillator is housed in a compact 4-SMD, no lead package measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm x 1.20mm, suitable for surface mount assembly.

Designed for general-purpose timing applications, the ASE series is RoHS3 compliant and rated MSL Level 1 (unlimited). The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, with storage from -55°C to 125°C.
