AR9341-DL3A

The Atheros AR9341, manufactured by Qualcomm, is a highly integrated and feature-rich System-on-a-Chip (SoC) designed for advanced WLAN platforms operating at 2.4 GHz. It supports the IEEE 802.11n standard with 2x2 MIMO configurations, achieving data rates up to 144 Mbps for 20 MHz channels and 300 Mbps for 40 MHz channels, as well as 802.11b/g data rates.

This SoC includes a powerful MIPS 74Kc processor running at up to 533 MHz, featuring dedicated I-Cache and D-Cache. It also incorporates a five-port IEEE 802.3 Fast Ethernet Switch with MAC/PHY, a USB 2.0 controller supporting Host or Device mode, and an external memory interface compatible with SPI NOR Flash, SDRAM, DDR1, or DDR2. Additional interfaces include I2S/SPDIF-Out for audio, a SLIC VOIP/PCM interface, two UARTs, and multiple GPIO pins for flexible configuration.

The AR9341 supports advanced features such as Maximal Likelihood decoding, Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC), Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC), and Tx Beamforming (TxBF). It is designed for efficient power management with dynamic clock switching for ultra-low power modes. The component is housed in a 150-pin dual-row LPCC package, suitable for various embedded wireless applications.
