APT1608F3C

The Kingbright APT1608F3C is an infrared (IR) emitting diode housed in a compact 0603 (1608 Metric) surface-mount package. It is constructed with Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and emits infrared light at a peak wavelength of 940nm. This diode is suitable for applications requiring IR illumination, such as cameras, machine vision systems, and surveillance.

Key electrical characteristics include a typical forward voltage of 1.2V at 20mA, a maximum forward voltage of 1.6V, and a maximum DC forward current of 50mA. The radiant intensity is a minimum of 1.2mW/sr at 20mA, with a broad viewing angle of 150°. The spectral bandwidth at 50% is 50nm.
