The Ambiq APOLLO512-KCR is an advanced System on Chip (SoC) engineered for high-performance AI at the edge, offering breakthrough energy efficiency. It is powered by a lightning-fast Arm Cortex-M55 application processor that includes Helium technology, enabling robust AI capabilities.
Connectivity is facilitated by a dedicated Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 radio, ensuring seamless low-power wireless communication. The SoC supports effortless communications with a dedicated 48 MHz network coprocessor. It is designed to handle AI/ML workloads concurrently with complex graphics, and always-on voice and sensor processing.
Key technical specifications include a clock frequency of up to 250 MHz, support for Helium (MVE) vector integer and floating-point operations, and scalar half, single, and double-precision floating-point capabilities. It also incorporates TrustZone® architecture security extensions, integrated 64 kB instruction and data caches, and 768 kB of tightly coupled memory (TCM). The device supports Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 with direction finding and offers a Tx power of up to +6dBm.
