The Sensata APL/UPL series hydraulic magnetic circuit protector, model APL15-3730-5, offers reliable, low-cost power switching, circuit protection, and control. It functions like an ON-OFF switch for normal load conditions, but its internal mechanism trips and forcibly returns the handle to the OFF position upon overload. This protector is 'trip free,' meaning the contacts will not remain closed under an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
