The Sensata APL/UPL series APL111-1REC4-65-303-M is a hydraulic magnetic circuit protector designed for reliable, low-cost power switching, circuit protection, and control. This 3-pole breaker offers a current rating of 30A and a voltage rating of 277V.
It functions similarly to an ON-OFF switch, opening the circuit under normal load conditions. Upon overload, the internal mechanism trips, forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The "trip free" design ensures the internal contacts will not remain closed during an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
This model features a lever actuator and is designed for panel mounting. The APL/UPL series is suitable for industrial, military, and information processing applications where precision operation is required. Most versions are recognized by UL and certified by CSA as supplementary protectors.
Note: The APL/UPL series is a legacy product, and new design-in orders are not being accepted. Sensata Technologies recommends utilizing the Airpax™ IAL series for new designs.
