The Sensata APL111-1REC4-2843-1 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker designed for reliable power switching, circuit protection, and control. Part of the APL/UPL series, this single-pole protector functions like an ON-OFF switch under normal load conditions. Upon detecting an overload, its internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The 'trip-free' design ensures the internal contacts cannot remain closed during an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
This legacy product is suitable for applications requiring precision operation. It is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as a supplementary protector and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235.
