The Sensata APL/UPL series APL111-1-62-104 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker designed for reliable power switching, circuit protection, and control. This 3-pole unit offers a 100A current rating and a 277V voltage rating, suitable for various industrial, military, and information processing applications.
Featuring a panel mount design and a lever actuator, this circuit breaker provides ON-OFF switching similar to a standard switch. Upon detecting an overload, the internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The "trip free" design ensures the internal contacts will not remain closed during an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
This APL/UPL series protector is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as a supplementary protector and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235. It is important to note that the APL/UPL series is a legacy product, and Sensata Technologies recommends the Airpax™ IAL series for new design-ins.
