The Sensata APL/UPL series APL1-21574-1 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker featuring a lever actuator and panel mount design. It is a single-pole unit designed for reliable power switching, circuit protection, and control.
This legacy product offers a trip-free mechanism, ensuring that the internal contacts will not remain closed under overload conditions, even if the handle is held in the ON position. The APL/UPL line provides various configurations, including different delays and ratings, suitable for industrial, military, and information processing applications.
Sensata Technologies recommends the Airpax™ IAL series as a replacement for the APL/UPL series, as the APL/UPL is a legacy product and no new design-in orders are being accepted. The 205 series (APL with dust proof enclosure) is also being discontinued.
