The Sensata APL/UPL series APL1-1REC4-2922-23 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker featuring a single pole and a lever actuator for manual operation. It is designed for panel mounting, offering reliable circuit protection and power switching.
This circuit breaker operates similarly to an ON-OFF switch under normal load conditions. Upon detecting an overload, its internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The 'trip free' design ensures the internal contacts cannot be held closed during an overload, even if the handle is manually held in the ON position.
While designed for industrial, military, and information processing applications, the APL/UPL series is suitable for any situation requiring precision operation. It is important to note that the APL/UPL series is a legacy product, and no new design-in orders are being accepted.
