The Sensata APL/UPL series APL1-1RE-22956-1 is a hydraulic magnetic circuit protector. This model features a single pole and a lever actuator for manual operation. It is designed for panel mounting, offering reliable circuit protection and power switching.
This circuit breaker utilizes a magnetic-hydraulic delay mechanism. Upon overload, the internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. The protector is 'trip free,' meaning the internal contacts will not remain closed in the presence of an overload, even if the handle is held in the ON position.
While designed for industrial, military, and information processing applications, the APL/UPL series is suitable for any situation requiring precision operation. It is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as a supplementary protector and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235.
