AP64350SP-13

The Diodes Incorporated AP64350SP-13 is a synchronous buck converter with a wide input voltage range from 3.8V to 40V, capable of delivering up to 3.5A of continuous output current. This device integrates high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, minimizing external component count and simplifying design.

Optimized for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) reduction, the AP64350SP-13 features a proprietary gate driver design to suppress switching node ringing and utilizes Frequency Spread Spectrum (FSS) with a switching frequency jitter of ±6% to reduce EMI. The switching frequency is programmable from 100kHz to 2.2MHz and can also be synchronized to an external clock within the same range.

Key electrical specifications include a 0.8V ±1% reference voltage and a low quiescent current of 22µA in Pulse-Frequency Modulation mode. The device offers up to 85% efficiency at light loads. Protection features include Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO), Output Overvoltage Protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle peak current limit, and thermal shutdown.

The AP64350SP-13 is available in an 8-SO-EP package, suitable for surface mount applications. It is designed for use in distributed power bus supplies, power tools, white goods, consumer electronics, and general-purpose point-of-load applications.
