The AP2205-W5-7 from Diodes Incorporated is a wide input voltage range, 200mA ultra-low dropout (ULDO) positive voltage regulator. Fabricated using a high-voltage EPNP process, it offers features such as high accuracy, high ripple rejection, low dropout voltage, low noise, current limit, and ultra-low quiescent current, making it suitable for various USB and portable devices.
Key electrical specifications include a wide input voltage range from 2.3V to 24V and an output voltage range from 1.24V to 22V. It provides an output current of up to 250mA with a typical dropout voltage of 100mV at 100µA and a maximum of 0.5V at 150mA. The regulator boasts excellent ripple rejection of 60dB at 1kHz and excellent line/load regulation. Protection features include over current, over temperature, and reverse polarity protection.
