The AP1212HSG-13 from Diodes Incorporated is a dual integrated high-side power switch designed for USB applications. It offers two independent switches, each capable of supplying a minimum of 500mA continuous current per port, compliant with USB specifications.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical on-resistance of 110mΩ, a maximum short circuit current limit of 1.25A, and an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. The device features thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout (UVLO) at 2.4V typical, and independent open-drain fault flag pins to indicate fault conditions. It also includes a 1ms soft-start feature to prevent voltage drops during enable.
This power switch is suitable for applications such as USB hubs, hot-plug-in power supplies, and battery-charger circuits. It is available in a surface-mount 8-SOP package (8-SOIC).
Note: An End-of-Life notice has been issued for this part. Standard supply may be limited.
