The AOZ8829DI-03 is a transient voltage suppressor array designed to protect high-speed data lines such as HDMI 1.4/2.0, USB 3.1, MDDI, SATA, and Gigabit Ethernet from damaging ESD events. It incorporates eight surge-rated, low capacitance steering diodes and a TVS diode in a single package. During transient conditions, the steering diodes direct the transient to either the positive side of the power supply line or to ground.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 3.3V, typical line-to-line capacitance of 0.25 pF, and peak pulse current rating of 6A (8/20 µs) per IEC 61000-4-5. The device meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD immunity with ±30kV contact and air discharge, and HBM ±30kV per MIL-STD-883 Method 3015. It protects four unidirectional I/O lines.
The AOZ8829DI-03 is available in a RoHS compliant and Halogen Free DFN-10 package measuring 2.5 mm x 1.0 mm x 0.55 mm. It is rated for an ambient operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The surface mount package is suitable for compact PCB designs in consumer electronics, computing, and mobile devices.
