The AOS AOZ8231ADI-05 is a one-line bi-directional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode engineered to safeguard voltage-sensitive electronics from high transient conditions and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
This device offers robust protection, exceeding IEC 61000-4-2 ESD standards with ±30 kV contact discharge and ±30 kV air discharge. It also handles IEC 61000-4-5 lightning surges up to 5 A (8/20 µS) and IEC 61000-4-4 EFT surges up to 40 A. The operating reverse voltage is 5V, with a breakdown voltage of 5.50V.
Designed for applications where space is critical, the AOZ8231ADI-05 is housed in an ultra-small DFN 1.0 mm x 0.6 mm package.
