The AOZ6606PI from AOS is an EZBuck™ 6A synchronous buck regulator designed for efficient power conversion. It operates within a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and can deliver up to 6A of continuous output current. The output voltage is adjustable down to 0.8V.
This regulator features internal low RDS(ON) MOSFETs, with the high-side at 52mΩ and the low-side at 24mΩ. It operates at a fixed switching frequency of 600kHz and includes Pulse Energy Mode (PEM) for high efficiency at light loads, achieving over 86% efficiency at 10mA load (12V input, 5V output).
Extensive protection features are integrated, including adjacent pin short protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and pre-bias start-up.
