The AMC7832IPAPR from Texas Instruments is a highly integrated, low-power analog monitoring and control solution. This IC offers a 12-bit resolution across its multiple analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC) channels.
Key electrical specifications include 17 external analog inputs with selectable ranges and programmable out-of-range alarms for the ADC. The device also provides twelve 12-bit DACs with selectable output ranges and high current drive capability. Communication is handled via an SPI-compatible serial interface operating from 1.8V to 5.5V.
This device integrates an internal 2.5V reference and a temperature sensor with ±2.5°C accuracy, operating over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It also includes eight general-purpose I/O ports (GPIOs).
The AMC7832IPAPR is available in a 64-terminal HTQFP PowerPAD package, suitable for surface mount applications.
