The AM6687/BEA is a general purpose voltage comparator manufactured by Advanced Micro Devices. It contains two independent comparator elements suitable for a variety of signal comparison applications.
With a maximum propagation delay of 4ns, it offers high-speed operation. The output type is open-emitter ECL, providing fast switching. Input offset voltage is 2mV max, input bias current 15µA max, quiescent current 32mA max, and typical output current 30mA. CMRR is 80dB typical, PSRR 60dB typical.
The comparator is housed in a 16-CDIP (0.300", 7.62mm) through-hole package, suitable for prototyping and industrial applications. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
This comparator is designed for high-speed digital and analog systems where ECL logic compatibility is required. The open-emitter output allows wired-OR connections.
