The Texas Instruments AM6548BACDXEAF is a high-performance Sitara™ processor designed for industrial applications. It integrates a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 microprocessor subsystem capable of operating at up to 1.1 GHz, alongside a dual-core Arm Cortex-R5F subsystem running at up to 400 MHz.
This processor features three gigabit Industrial Communication Subsystems (PRU_ICSSG), supporting up to two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports per subsystem and compatibility with 10/100Mb PRU-ICSS. Memory support includes DDR4 up to DDR-1600 and on-chip L3 RAM with SECDED. It also includes a PowerVR SGX544-MP1 3D graphics accelerator.
The AM6548BACDXEAF is developed for functional safety applications, with systematic capability up to SIL 3 and hardware integrity up to SIL 2, and is IEC 61508 certified. It supports secure boot and cryptographic acceleration.
