The Texas Instruments AM4376BZDN100 is a Sitara family ARM Cortex-A9 32-bit RISC microprocessor operating at up to 1.0GHz. It includes a NEON SIMD coprocessor and a programmable real-time unit subsystem (PRU-ICSS) for industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, and Sercos.
Memory architecture includes 32KB L1 instruction and data cache, 256KB L2 cache (configurable as L3 RAM), and 64KB on-chip RAM. External memory support covers LPDDR2, DDR3, and DDR3L via a 32-bit memory controller. General-purpose NAND, NOR, and SRAM memory with up to 16-bit ECC is also supported.
Connectivity includes dual USB 2.0 ports with integrated PHY, dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports with switch capability, and multiple serial interfaces: two CAN, six UARTs, five SPI, three I2C, one QSPI, and one HDQ/1-Wire. A display subsystem supports TSC and WXGA resolutions.
Security features include a crypto accelerator (AES, SHA, RNG, DES, 3DES), secure boot, and hardware-enforced isolation. The device is housed in a 491-NFBGA (17x17mm) surface-mount package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
