The Texas Instruments AM26S10CN is a quadruple bus transceiver designed for high-speed data bus applications. It utilizes Schottky-diode-clamped transistors to achieve a typical propagation delay time of 12 ns. The device features four drivers with open-collector outputs capable of sinking 100 mA at 0.8 V maximum, making it suitable for party-line (data bus) operation.
The AM26S10CN operates with a supply voltage range of 4.75 V to 5.25 V and is characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C. The driver and strobe inputs use pnp transistors to reduce input loading. The driver section is inverting and includes two ground connections for improved ground current-handling capability.
The device is housed in a 16-pin DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) package with through-hole mounting, supplied as a 16-PDIP. It is designed to be interchangeable with the Advanced Micro Devices AM26S10.
