AM26LV31EIPWR

The AM26LV31EIPWR is a low-voltage, high-speed quad differential line driver designed for RS-422 and RS-485 communication. It integrates four drivers and zero receivers, supporting half-duplex operation at signaling rates up to 32 Mbps. The device operates from a single 3.3V supply (3V to 3.6V range) and is specified over -40°C to 85°C.

The driver provides ±30 mA output drive current with controlled 5 ns rise and fall times, and a typical propagation delay of 8 ns. It delivers a differential output voltage of 2.6V into a 100Ω load and supports up to 32 nodes on the bus. The device includes robust ESD protection: ±15kV HBM, ±8kV IEC 61000-4-2 contact, and ±15kV air-gap discharge. It also offers a common-mode range and fault protection voltage of -7V to +7V.

The AM26LV31EIPWR is packaged in a 16-pin TSSOP (16-TSSOP, 0.173" width) for surface-mount assembly. Additional features include Ioff partial-power-down support, driver output short-circuit protection, glitch-free power-up/power-down, and the ability to accept 5V logic inputs from a 3.3V supply. It meets TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU V.11 standards.
