The AM26LS32AIDR is a quadruple differential line receiver designed for balanced and unbalanced digital data transmission. It meets ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B, TIA/EIA-423-B, and ITU recommendations V.10 and V.11.
The device has four receivers, a maximum data rate of 10 Mbps, a common-mode voltage range of -7V to 7V, and fault protection up to ±25V. It operates from a single 5V supply with a maximum supply current of 70 mA. The receiver hysteresis is typically 50 mV, and the input impedance is at least 12 kΩ.
Features include 3-state outputs and complementary output-enable inputs. Open input fail-safe ensures outputs are high when inputs are open. The enable function is common to all receivers and offers a choice of active-high or active-low input. The device supports up to 32 nodes on the bus.
The AM26LS32AIDR is surface-mount in a 16-SOIC package (0.154", 3.90mm width). It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. RoHS3 compliance is marked but unverified.
