The Texas Instruments AM26C32INSR is a quadruple differential line receiver suitable for balanced or unbalanced digital data transmission. It meets or exceeds ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B, TIA/EIA-423-B, and ITU recommendation V.10 and V.11 standards.
This receiver features a common enable function for all four receivers, with selectable active-high or active-low input. The 3-state outputs allow direct connection to bus-organized systems. It operates from a single 5V supply with a typical supply current of 10 mA. The device offers a ±7V common-mode range with ±200mV sensitivity and 60 mV typical input hysteresis.
Manufactured using a BiCMOS process, the AM26C32 offers reduced power consumption compared to older devices while maintaining performance. It is available in a 16-SOIC surface mount package and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The fail-safe design ensures outputs are high if inputs are open.
This part is an improved replacement for the AM26LS32 device and is also available in Q-temp automotive grade.
