Designed for low-power applications, the ALS31300EEJASR-500 includes a highly configurable power management system. In sleep mode, it consumes a typical current of just 14 nA, making it suitable for battery-operated devices. The sensor is available in a compact 10-contact DFN package (3 mm x 3 mm x 0.8 mm) with a surface mount type.

 

Multiple factory-programmed sensitivity ranges are available, including ±500 G, ±1000 G, and ±2000 G. The device also supports a joystick mode with a low-gain option for the Z-axis channel, enabling return-to-zero force using back-bias magnets. It includes 78 bits of user EEPROM for storing configuration settings.
