The AL1783T16E-13 from Diodes Incorporated is a versatile three-channel linear LED driver. It is designed for connected, commercial, industrial, and RGB LED lighting applications, offering independent PWM dimming and current-setting controls for each channel.
Key features include a wide input voltage range from 6.5V to 60V and an operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The device boasts ±4% LED current tolerance at 125mA and supports fast PWM dimming to eliminate flicker. It also includes automatic standby power mode functionality.
For robust system implementation, the AL1783T16E-13 incorporates several protections, such as Under Voltage Lock-out (UVLO), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), and LED String Open/Short Protection. It also features Over Temperature Protection (OTP) with thermal fold-back, shut-down, and automatic recovery. Fault reporting for UVLO, OTP, and LED open/short conditions is also provided.
