The AFM30US18 is a 30W AC/DC desktop adapter from XP Power, part of the AFM series. It delivers a regulated 18V output with an initial set accuracy of ±2%. The adapter accepts a universal input of 80-264 VAC at 47-63 Hz, with a maximum input current of 1.5 A rms at 115VAC. It features no-load power consumption below 0.5 W and meets Level V energy efficiency requirements.
Electrical protection includes overvoltage protection (110-170% Vnom), overload protection (110-220%), and short circuit protection with hiccup mode auto-recovery. The adapter provides 4000 VAC isolation between input and output (2x MOPP) and 1500 VAC input to ground (1x MOPP). Ripple and noise is limited to 1% max pk-pk, and line/load regulation are within ±1% and 2.5% respectively.
The operating temperature range is 0°C to +60°C with derating above 40°C. It is designed for altitudes up to 2000 m and can withstand 30g shock and 2.31 m/s² vibration. The adapter is compliant with EN55011/32/FCC Class B for conducted emissions. MTBF is greater than 250,000 hours per MIL-HDBK-217F.
