AFE032IRGZR

The AFE032IRGZR is a low-cost, integrated powerline communications (PLC) analog front-end (AFE) from Texas Instruments. It is designed for transformer-coupled connections to the power line under control of a digital signal processor or microcontroller. The device features 12-bit resolution, a single channel, and a supply voltage range of 7V to 24V. It can deliver up to 1.9A typical output current into reactive loads, with a gain bandwidth product of 3.8 MHz, slew rate of 75 V/µs, and quiescent current of 78 mA per channel. The receiver achieves a sensitivity of 10 µV RMS (typical) in G3-FCC mode, and power consumption is 50 mW in receiver mode.

The AFE032IRGZR supports multiple PLC standards and frequency bands, including CENELEC bands A, B, C, D, ARIB STD-T84, FCC FSK, SFSK, and NB-OFDM.
