The ADXL362WBCCZ-RL from Analog Devices is a micropower, 3-axis MEMS accelerometer designed for applications requiring minimal power consumption. It operates with supply voltages ranging from 1.6V to 3.5V and features an ultra-low power consumption, drawing as little as 1.8 µA at 100 Hz ODR or 270 nA in motion-activated wake-up mode.
This accelerometer provides selectable measurement ranges of ±2g, ±4g, and ±8g, with a high resolution of 1 mg/LSB on the ±2g range. It offers low noise performance down to 175 µg/√Hz. The device includes built-in features for system-level power savings, such as adjustable threshold sleep/wake modes and an autonomous interrupt processing capability. An on-chip temperature sensor is also integrated.
The ADXL362WBCCZ-RL communicates via a digital SPI interface and is housed in a compact 16-LGA package measuring 3 mm × 3.25 mm × 1.06 mm. It is suitable for surface mounting and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
